Stimuli can be displayed by the Moderator by clicking on the “Stimuli” button. The stimuli materials will be displayed on the right side of the platform. Digital Interviews currently supports .jpg, .png, .gif, and .pdf files as stimuli.

Note: In the above screenshot, the stimuli is only visible to the Moderator.
For the stimuli to become visible for the participant, the Moderator needs to click a stimuli icon on the bar to the right of the screen.

1: Enabling Draw Tools
The Moderator can also enable Draw tools. When enabled, each participant will automatically be assigned a color. In order to mark up the stimuli, participants need to click on the marker icon that will appear on the left-hand side of the stimuli.

Note: Users are not able to draw on .pdf files.
2: Syncing Participant Mark Ups
Participants can mark stimuli independent of one another. This helps eliminate biases and participants influencing one another’s mark ups.
When the “Sync” feature is turned ON, all participants are able to see marks of other participants.

When the Sync feature is turned OFF, participants will only be able to see their own marks.
